Victoria Maddocks is a multi-disciplinary designer, creative thinker and brand builder. She is a global creative director with a track record in driving innovation and delivering emotional, relevant branding across digital and social media platforms, advertising, packaging, merchandising and store design. She has global experience working in US, Asia, Europe and regions within Latin America.
Victoria is currently Senior Vice President, Creative for New Mountain Skincare, a private equity firm also known as Topix Brands. She is charged with modernizing the brand image for the various companies within the portfolio – across all brand touch points and channels with a focus on creating digital excellence. The portfolio consists of Topix Pharmaceuticals, Clarity RX Skincare, Replenix, Derma E and Think Baby & Sport.
Prior to this position, Victoria was Vice President, Global Creative Director for Philosophy where she transformed and modernized the brand across digital, packaging, print and merchandising platforms. She designed and opened two freestanding stores for the brand in New York City and New Jersey.
Prior to Philosophy, Victoria was Vice President, Global Creative Director for Kiehl’s where she took the brand from one store to in the U.S. to over 300 brand-owned stores in 35 countries around the world. This positioned the brand for accelerated global growth. During her eight year tenure the brand grew at double digit rates and became the fastest growing brand within L’Oréal.
Victoria has ran her own agency where she worked on various rebranding projects for The Estée Lauder Companies (Lab Series), Laura Mercier, Victoria Secret Beauty and Everlane among other brands.
Victoria started her career as a magazine art director and worked extensively in advertising during the former part of her career and was Senior Designer at Gucci (during the Tom Ford era).
Victoria brings a vibrant energy and inspirational leadership to the work place. She can translate creative vision into a variety of mediums, be it a physical space, printed page or online. She understands the power of great design and how to turn it into sales and profit. In addition to her creative mind, Victoria has a business acumen and an entrepreneurial vigor that allows her to deliver on a strategic and seamless brand message. Victoria holds a BA in graphic design. She is British born with American citizenship, she speaks French and is well traveled.
